Academic Leader

The college is seeking a visionary Academic Leader to provide strategic direction and drive academic excellence. As the academic head of the institution, you will be responsible for developing and implementing curricula, promoting research, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

This role demands strong leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills to build a culture of quality education, innovation, and continuous growth. You will work closely with faculty and staff to foster holistic student development, encourage extracurricular activities, and strengthen industry partnerships.

A key responsibility will be to manage day-to-day administration, academic schedules, admissions, and examinations. You will also supervise recruitment, training, and performance of faculty and staff, maintaining discipline and grievance redressal across the institution.

To succeed in this role, you must have a Master's Degree from a recognized university, a Ph.D. degree in a relevant discipline, and minimum 15 years of teaching/research experience, including 5 years in an administrative/leadership role.

You should possess strong knowledge of higher education policies, regulatory frameworks, and academic best practices. Leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as excellent communication, presentation, and networking abilities. Integrity, discipline, and the ability to inspire faculty, staff, and students are crucial qualities for this position.
