Seeking a visionary leader to spearhead placement and corporate relations efforts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an exceptional professional to lead the Placement & Corporate Interface function. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong corporate network and the ability to drive results.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement placement strategies that align with the institute's vision and market trends.

Corporate Relations:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with top-tier companies, startups, and public sector enterprises for placements, internships, and live projects.
  • Organize industry conclaves, guest lectures, and other corporate interactions to increase engagement.

Placement Operations:

  • Oversee the entire placement process, from pre-placement talks to final offers, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for both recruiters and students.

Student Readiness:

  • Collaborate with faculty and training partners to prepare students to meet industry expectations. This includes pre-placement training on resume building, interview prep, and group discussion practice.
  • Mentor students on career choices, profile building, and industry expectations.

Alumni Engagement

  • Utilize the alumni network for placement support, mentorship, and networking opportunities.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track placement metrics, prepare detailed reports, and present insights to leadership and stakeholders.

Quantitative Targets:

  • Ensure the placement of 360 students for final placements and 360 students for summer internships.
  • Enhance the median salary of the placed batch compared to the previous year.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Postgraduate degree (preferably an MBA or equivalent) from a reputable institution.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in corporate relations, placements, business development, or HR, ideally within a reputable academic institution or corporate setting.
  • Strong network across various industries (FMCG, BFSI, IT/ITES, Consulting, Manufacturing, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A strategic thinker with a result-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
