Job Description:

The Core Maintenance Planning Team Lead is responsible for overseeing a team of maintenance planners, schedulers, and permit writers who develop detailed plans and schedules to execute planned maintenance and project work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the planning and scheduling of non-turnaround routine maintenance work.
  • Provide technical support on planning, estimating, and scheduling for Chevron executed project work.
  • Ensure high-quality work packages in compliance with Chevron standards.
  • Drive accountability regarding standard planning and estimating tools and practices.
  • Deliver quality execution work plans and updates on scope status and forecast.
  • Work closely with Operations to integrate schedules into the operating plan.
  • Partner with Asset Maintenance Team Leads to feed planned work into the asset integrated plan and prepare it for the field.
  • Develop tools to streamline cost and execution forecasting accuracy and report on status at individual project and portfolio level.
  • Seek opportunities to improve planning and scheduling accuracy and remove inefficiencies.
  • Integrate Chevron executed scope into a master project schedule with Construction Services.
  • Clearly communicate scope progress to customers, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Grow Routine/Planned Maintenance work process competency within the ENGINE.
  • Ensure Lessons Learned reviews are completed for each FEL event and drive subsequent improvement initiatives.
  • Support backlog management.
  • Develop and improve maintenance resource forecasting for the development Asset's 5-year Work Plan and Budget.
