AI-Powered Software Engineer

This role involves creating innovative AI-infused features for deep code analysis and review.

  • Developing and architecting features that leverage AI to improve software development workflows.
  • Designing tooling that speaks to developers in their own language by embedding language models into development workflows.
  • Scaling smart systems with efficiency in mind, from local setups to cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Contribution to ideation and innovation teams, valuing creativity, feedback, and mentorship.
  • Staying at the bleeding edge of generative AI and software engineering best practices through debriefing and evolution.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering with a strong foundation and clean, scalable code.
  • Fluency in modern backend stacks, with TypeScript/Node.js preferred but other server-side languages welcome.
  • Experience with distributed systems, high-performance computing, and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Advantageous hands-on knowledge of code search, code graphs, static analysis tools, and frameworks like tree-sitter.
  • A degree in CS, Engineering, AI, or equivalent, along with a love for tackling hard problems and an enthusiasm for teaching and learning.

This is a fully remote contracted role offering maximum flexibility and deep impact. You'll be pushing the frontier of Gen AI and building tools that redefine developer workflows.
