Pilates Instructor Role

As a Pilates instructor, you will be responsible for promoting the benefits of Pilates and overall general health benefits of exercise to our clients. You will teach Pilates classes for a range of clients, from beginners to advanced learners, focusing on individual attention and designing Pilates programmes based on posture types and ability.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough verbal screenings to ensure client safety and provide guidance on modifications and precautions.
  • Promote the advantages of Pilates and overall wellness through effective communication and demonstration.
  • Deliver engaging Pilates classes that cater to various levels of experience and adapt to individual needs.
  • Provide personalized instruction and support to 1-2-1 clients or small groups, focusing on tailored Pilates programmes and progress monitoring.
  • Create a welcoming environment that puts clients at ease and fosters a sense of community.
  • Evaluate and mitigate potential risks in the class area, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
  • Engage and motivate class participants, encouraging retention and loyalty through exceptional customer service.
  • Craft adaptive and progressive Pilates classes that cater to diverse abilities and learning styles within a mixed-ability group setting.
  • Employ creative variations of Pilates methods and incorporate small equipment to maintain class interest and engagement.
