Job Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Engineer to lead the homologation process for retrofit emission control devices and automotive-related products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop powerful homologation strategies & roadmaps for the retrofit emission control device and automotive-related products.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with test agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the homologation team, ensuring effective strategy execution and timely completion of projects.
  • Monitor and report on the homologation process, including risks and issues, to senior management.
  • Ensure resources are allocated effectively to support project success.
  • Take ownership of homologation-related projects within the company.
  • Foster a culture of process-driven innovation across the engineering team, promoting cross-functional collaboration and open communication.
  • Manage ambiguity while maintaining team focus and motivation, contributing to company-level strategy development.
  • Engage with external homologation partners and provide guidance on homologation requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in homologation, certification, or regulatory compliance, with a minimum of one year in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience working with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and homologation partners.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
