Senior Data Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to support our business outcomes. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and drive operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced data analysis, identify trends, build visualizations, and deliver insights that fulfill stakeholder needs across finance, accounting, and tax functions.
  • Conduct ticket triaging to detect potential misbilling by analyzing transactional data and determining refund or clawback amounts.
  • Provide month-end close support for accounting and finance teams, including data validation and incident investigation.
  • Coordinate and execute cross-functional projects to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Perform data analysis to support financial audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Partner with engineering teams to define product solutions and contribute to system enhancements.
  • Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to strengthen team capabilities and encourage a culture of continuous learning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5–8 years of experience in data analysis, with proven exposure to finance/accounting domain.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Solid understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting financial close processes and/or audit requirements.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with scripting languages for data manipulation and automation.
  • Exposure to AI tools for data-driven problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with financial systems and ERP tools.
