International Trade Manager Job Description

This is a senior-level position responsible for managing and executing the company's international trade activities. The role involves overseeing all aspects of export operations, including market development, documentation compliance, sales, logistics, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop New Markets: Identify and pursue new opportunities in international markets to expand the company's presence and revenue streams.
  • Export Documentation and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of export documents and adherence to relevant regulations.
  • Sales and Business Development for Export Market: Foster relationships with clients and partners to drive sales growth and business development initiatives.
  • Monitor Sales Transactions and Customer Response: Track sales performance and customer feedback to inform business decisions.
  • Manage Sales Shipments of Export Products: Oversee the coordination of sales shipments, ensuring smooth execution and minimal disruptions.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders to Ensure Smooth Functioning: Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as logistics, finance, and marketing, to ensure seamless operation of export activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong Understanding of Export Procedures and Documentation: Possess in-depth knowledge of export regulations, procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Knowledge of International Trade Regulations and Compliance Requirements: Stay up-to-date on changing regulatory landscapes and ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Relevant Software and Tools: Demonstrate proficiency in industry-specific software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
