Senior Tax Manager Job Description">

Our organization is seeking a seasoned Tax Professional to lead our tax management efforts. This key position requires an individual with in-depth knowledge of accounting processes and the ability to identify and address tax-related issues.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills, both written and verbal. This role involves managing direct and indirect tax compliance, assessments, and litigation, as well as providing expert advice on tax matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Direct and Indirect tax compliance, assessments, and litigation
  • Audit Management: Appear before Tax Authorities and manage various audit issues
  • Tax Compliance: Handle advance tax payments, tax returns, reports, and necessary paperwork
  • Tax Advisory: Ensure complete tax compliance, particularly for DT and IDT with a focus on GST
  • GST ITC Reconciliation: Perform GST ITC reconciliation and reversal of non-eligible ITC
  • Tax Coordination: Coordinate with Tax counsel for advisory and opinion
  • Case Preparation: Prepare facts and cases for professional opinions
  • Stakeholder Support: Provide assistance to both external and internal stakeholders
  • Tax Review: Conduct periodic reviews of financial matters from a tax perspective

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
  • 7 to 9 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax management
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting processes and tax regulations
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to maintain and develop client relationships
