We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our data science team in delivering impactful risk solutions. You will be responsible for analyzing loss trends, simulating risk decisioning strategies, and building risk scorecards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performing team to deliver strategic risk solutions across credit risk (underwriting, exposure controls, and line management).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across product development, data science, and engineering to drive the implementation of risk strategies.
  • Manage complex projects to ensure timely delivery and effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Analyze loss trends and simulate risk decisioning strategies to optimize revenue and approval rates.
  • Work closely with the data science team to recommend credit risk decisioning and model deployment strategy.
  • Develop a risk scorecard that leverages both internal and external performance data for credit decisioning.

Requirements:

  • Experience in data analysis and database query language (e.g., SQL).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and Databricks in a finance or analytics field.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing high-performing teams of analysts.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; ability to engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across teams.

Qualifications:

  • Quantitative background in engineering, statistics, math, economics, business, or related disciplines.
