Business Development Professional - Architecture Consultancy

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic professional to fill a Business Development role in our Architecture Consultancy division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, managing the bidding process, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely submissions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire RFP and tender submission process from start to finish.
  • Coordinate with design and technical teams to develop proposals that meet client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain databases for tracking leads, opportunities, and submissions.
  • Handle documentation, pre-qualification requirements, and compliance matters.
  • Liaise with clients and consultants to address queries, provide clarifications, and follow up on submissions.
  • Monitor upcoming projects and business leads in the architecture and construction sectors.
  • Support senior leadership in strategic business development initiatives and reporting.
  • Establish strong connections with key government bodies and pursue opportunities through these channels.
  • Pursue relationships with private developers and leverage past experience in the private sector to generate new business leads.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Development, preferably in architecture, construction, or design consultancy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and documentation workflows.
  • A solid understanding of RFPs, EOIs, tendering, and government/private procurement systems.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • An educational background in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout India for business development-related meetings, presentations, and client coordination.
