Job Title: Zuora Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the pivotal role of Zuora Engineer, tasked with stabilising operations and enhancing customer experience workflows across a global footprint.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and resolving risks within the Zuora platform, ensuring operational continuity. They will design and optimise customer experience workflows across billing and subscription journeys, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align Zuora capabilities with business goals.

A key aspect of this role will be implementing best practices for Zuora configuration, automation, and data integrity, while providing technical leadership and documentation to reduce future dependency risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve risks within the Zuora platform to ensure operational continuity.
  • Design and optimise customer experience workflows across billing and subscription journeys.
  • Collaborate with Product, Finance, and CX teams to align Zuora capabilities with business goals.
  • Implement best practices for Zuora configuration, automation, and data integrity.
  • Provide technical leadership and documentation to reduce future dependency risks.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Zuora Engineer or Architect in enterprise environments.
  • Deep understanding of subscription billing models and customer lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on expertise with Zuora APIs, Workflow Designer, Product Catalog, and Reporting.
  • Experience integrating Zuora with CRM (e.g. Salesforce), ERP, and data platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer experience.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
