Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Proofreader to join our team. As a key member of our Document Processing and Management Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of audit reports and financial statements.

The ideal candidate will have strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills, with experience reviewing financial statements for an accounting firm. A high attention to detail and the ability to quickly transition between tasks are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and edit attest reports and financial statements for formatting, data accuracy, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and tense.
  • Collaborate with attest teams to produce customized and unique modifications to attest reports and financial statements.
  • Ensure attest documents meet consistency standards and are error-free.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting or financial statement review.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Teams), Adobe Pro, and CaseWare/CaseView.
  • Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.

Benefits

This is a night shift position, with hours from 8:30 PM to 5:30 AM IST. The DPMD functions virtually as a pooled team environment, serving all offices in the United States. You will utilize technology, such as Microsoft Teams, Adobe Pro, and DataSnipper, to work efficiently and paperlessly.

You will be responsible for handling confidential information and anticipating and managing ambiguity and change. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
