As a Housekeeping Associate at Accor, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our hotel rooms and public areas. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Attending daily briefings and taking on assigned tasks
  • Understanding guest levels (VIPs) and room categories
  • Cleaning and maintaining areas of responsibility according to standards and procedures
  • Replenishing guest supplies and ensuring guest requests are promptly attended to
  • Reporting damage or malfunction in hotel rooms/areas to Supervisor
  • Maintaining equipment in a proper state of cleanliness
  • Maintaining a section room report as well as a daily productivity report
  • Reporting lost and found articles to the housekeeping office immediately
  • Handling guest complaints tactfully and reporting incidents or irregularities to Supervisor
  • Reporting unusual behavior/activities in guestrooms, floors, or public areas to Supervisor
  • Recording room status in allocated sections accurately
  • Carrying out valet services when required

Other Responsibilities:

  • Being well-versed in hotel fire and life safety/emergency procedures
  • Attending all briefings, meetings, and trainings as assigned by management
  • Maintaining a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
  • Performing other reasonable duties assigned by management
  • Establishing and maintaining effective employee working relationships

Main Complexity/Critical issues in the Job:

  • Responding professionally, politely, and efficiently to extraordinary requests and complaints from guests

Qualifications:

  • Preferably a Hotel Management diploma/degree
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Good operational knowledge
  • Quick learner
  • Team player
