Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead interactions with government officials to secure policy support for the company.
  2. Monitor regulatory compliance and adherence to environmental clearances, labor laws, land use permissions, and industrial licensing requirements in Andhra Pradesh.
  3. Develop crisis communication protocols and maintain relationships with key regional media personnel.
  4. Analyze policy developments affecting the steel/manufacturing sector and create position papers and advocacy strategies.
  5. Coordinate land acquisition processes, liaison with revenue officials, and collaborate with legal teams on property-related matters.
  6. Brief senior leadership on political developments and coordinate with departments to align corporate affairs strategies with business objectives.
Required Skills
  • Expertise in engaging government and industry leaders to influence policy and advance business goals.
  • Able to handle media during crises and mitigate risks effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of land procurement, labor standards, and the socio-political landscape of Vijayawada/Andhra Pradesh.
