Job Title: Medical Director - Therapeutic Strategy

The Medical Director of Therapeutic Strategy will lead the development and implementation of medical strategies at Ajanta, focusing on providing robust medico-marketing support.

This role will encompass the creation of medical materials, training programs, and evaluation of new products, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical references and data to support product positioning and NPD.
  • Support marketing teams with regular inputs and strategic advice on promotional activities to ensure accurate messaging and compliance.
  • Create comprehensive product manuals, product monographs, and training slides to enhance understanding and communication of product benefits.
  • Develop CME slides and materials to support ongoing education initiatives.
  • Evaluate new product ideas and presentations, providing insights and recommendations to marketing and business development teams.
  • Conduct medical training sessions for field staff to ensure they are well-informed about products and therapeutic areas.
  • Participate in clinical studies to gather relevant data and insights that inform medical affairs strategies.
  • Conduct evaluations of competitors' new products and strategies, providing analysis to inform company positioning and development efforts.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging science to provide insights that drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in life sciences (MBBS, MD) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 15 years experience in medical affairs or related fields, with a focus on marketing support and product evaluation.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, clinical development processes, and the therapeutic landscape.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to assess data and inform strategic decisions.
  • Familiarity with developing training programs and CME materials.
