Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Director Intern. This role will provide the opportunity to work closely with the Director, contributing to script development, research, and creative coordination across the production cycle.

  • Assist the Director in day-to-day project activities during pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Develop English-language scripts, treatments, and narrative structures with the Director's guidance.
  • Conduct background research on Space initiatives, history, and related topics to enhance the documentary's narrative.
  • Coordinate with the production team for scheduling, shot lists, and logistics to ensure a smooth production process.
  • Translate finalized English scripts into Hindi, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
  • Provide creative input for visuals, graphics, and storyboarding to enhance the overall visual storytelling approach.
  • Ensure alignment between the script and the visual storytelling approach to deliver a cohesive final product.
Requirements
  • Film school student or recent graduate with a keen interest in scientific films.
  • Strong command of English writing (script, narrative, research synthesis).
  • Familiarity with documentary filmmaking and/or government/educational films is preferred.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to dynamic production needs.
  • Curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative individual.
