Job Overview

The Cloud Infrastructure Operations Senior Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation and upkeep of cloud infrastructure and platforms.

This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in IT engineering, with strong knowledge on different cloud technologies and platforms. Azure experience is highly desirable.

A successful candidate will possess a proven track record in providing support and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure, including incident management and root cause analysis.

They will also be able to identify inefficiencies and implement automated solutions to overcome them, as well as assist in building out our presence and guiding teams and individuals.

Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for working effectively with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in storage technologies (SAN, NAS, DAS) and strong knowledge of storage protocols (NFS, SMB) are required.

Experience with storage management tools (EMC, NetApp, HPE, IBM) and data permissions, ACLs, and access management is also essential.

Maintaining robust disaster recovery strategies and ensuring business continuity is crucial in this role. Scripting in relevant disciplines and implementing and maintaining patch management systems are highly desirable.
