Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Seeking a seasoned cloud infrastructure specialist to oversee the design, deployment and maintenance of enterprise-level cloud computing systems.

Job Description
  • Plan, implement and manage large-scale cloud computing environments on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Design and deploy highly available and scalable cloud architectures, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements, developing solutions that meet technical delivery goals.
  • Develop and implement cloud migration strategies, leveraging tools like Terraform and other relevant technologies.
  • Optimize cloud resource utilization, reducing costs and improving overall efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in cloud computing, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in cloud infrastructure management, with expertise in OCI Administration.
  • Strong understanding of Tenancy, VCN, Compartments, Network Layers, firewalls, subnets, storage options, FSS, Block Volume, and Object Storage.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
  • Knowledge of HA concepts, DR architecture, and migration tools.
  • Certifications such as OCI Architect Associate/Professional, OCI Migration and Integration Specialist, OCI Security Associate/Professional, or OCI Cloud Operations Associate are a plus.
