Job Overview:

The Programme Manager plays a pivotal role in driving cross-functional initiatives, financial transformation projects and governance processes across Finance, Projects, Procurement and Commercial functions. This position supports the Chief Financial Officer in ensuring alignment of finance priorities with business goals while overseeing execution of key programmes, reviews and digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the execution of strategic projects and initiatives from the Chief Financial Officer's office, including financial digitisation and automation.
  • Manage governance calendars, Chief Financial Officer reviews and ensure timely tracking of critical deliverables across finance verticals (FP&A, Tax, Treasury, AR/AP, Compliance).
  • Act as a liaison between the Chief Financial Officer and cross-functional teams, including Projects, Procurement, Human Resources, Legal and Business Heads.
  • Prepare and monitor business performance dashboards, highlighting exceptions on financial Key Performance Indicators, risk areas and compliance gaps.
  • Prepare executive presentations, Management Information System packs and board decks.
  • Ensure alignment of finance Standard Operating Procedures, risk registers and programme management trackers across all functions.
  • Track monthly cash flow, profitability improvement plans and key business metrics with relevant owners.
  • Support fundraising, investor reporting, board updates and data room management for due diligence cycles.
  • Track implementation of internal audit findings, cost optimisation initiatives and working capital improvement plans.
  • Facilitate periodic cross-functional review meetings and ensure documentation of action items and follow-ups.

Preferred Background:

A Chartered Accountant / Master of Business Administration Finance professional with 1–3 years of experience in finance programme management, Chief Financial Officer office or strategic initiative's role, preferably in Design & Build, Engineering, Procurement and Construction, real estate or infrastructure companies. Strong analytical, coordination and communication skills with hands-on experience in Enterprise Resource Planning, dashboards and cross-functional governance are critical.
