Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting
    • Develop and implement quarterly and annual budgets across all functions, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives.
    • Create robust forecasting models for revenue, costs, and cash runway, utilizing AI-enabled tools for real-time insights.
    • Analyze variance, scenario plan, and cost-benefit assessments to support strategic decisions.
    • Promote financial discipline and budgeting ownership across teams through clear planning processes.
  • Cash Flow Management
    • Manage cash flow to support business continuity and growth, monitoring monthly runway and raising early alerts to leadership.
    • Optimize working capital and the cash conversion cycle using AI-led process improvements.
  • Business Strategy Support
    • Collaborate with the leadership team to align financial goals with overall business strategy.
    • Provide financial input during strategic planning sessions and other significant business decisions.
  • Reporting & Compliance
    • Owning monthly MIS, board decks, and leadership updates.
    • Leading audit closures and ensuring timely statutory filings.
    • Maintaining internal controls and adherence to financial regulations.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Mentoring and growing a strong finance team across functions.
    • Encouraging an AI-first mindset, fostering a culture of automation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
    Qualifications:
    • CA Qualified / MBA from a reputable institution
    • Prior experience in Business finance is required
    • Excellent written and oral articulation
    • Highly competent in working with cross-functional teams
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Positive attitude and keen to learn
    • Experience or strong interest in applying AI in finance workflows
