Job Title: Senior Finance Leader

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing finance operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, accounts, and reports. This includes creating and managing monthly MIS reports, providing timely insights to leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day finance activities, maintaining the highest standards of financial record-keeping and reporting.
  • Create and manage monthly MIS reports, including P&L, cash flow, and budget vs. actuals, to inform business decisions.
  • Maintain up-to-date bookkeeping, compliance, and documentation in line with statutory regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a small finance team, promoting excellence in deliverables, timeliness, and organizational alignment.
  • Support leadership with financial analysis and insights to aid decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Track and report key financial and operational metrics, enhancing visibility across functions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial processes align with business objectives.
  • Manage statutory compliance in India and support UK compliance through collaborative efforts with external advisors.
  • Contribute to preparing investor reports, forecasts, and financial models to support fundraising and growth initiatives.
  • Pursue process improvements in bookkeeping, MIS, compliance, and financial planning to drive scalability.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or auditing, preferably within a fast-growing or dynamic environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills, enabling effective working relationships with stakeholders across departments to ensure financial alignment and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills, essential for presenting complex financial information to investors, auditors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining the integrity of financial records and reports.
