Job Summary:

Leading Excellence in Physiotherapy Education

We are seeking an accomplished leader to serve as our Principal of Physiotherapy. As a seasoned educator and administrator, you will be responsible for providing academic and administrative excellence in teaching, clinical practice, research, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Academic Leadership: Develop and implement academic programs aligned with University, UGC, and statutory council norms.
  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Supervise curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and continuous assessment to ensure high-quality education.
  • Research and Faculty Guidance: Encourage faculty research, publications, and participation in academic forums to foster a culture of scholarship.
  • Clinical Training and Integration: Ensure effective clinical training and seamless integration with hospital services to enhance student learning experiences.
  • Administrative and Managerial: Oversee the day-to-day administration of the Physiotherapy College/Department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Faculty and Staff Management: Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty and staff performance to maintain a high-performing team.
  • Budgeting and Resource Management: Prepare budgets and manage resources effectively to ensure infrastructure adequacy.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Maintain adherence to accreditation standards and ensure proper records of academic, clinical, and administrative activities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build collaboration with healthcare institutions, universities, and professional bodies to enhance learning opportunities.
  • Communication and Community Engagement: Engage with parents, students, and alumni to strengthen institutional reputation.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in Physiotherapy (MPT) or Doctoral degree in Physiotherapy (Ph.D.). Specialization in Orthopedics, Neurology, or Cardio-respiratory is desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of teaching/clinical experience, including at least 5 years in a Professor/Head role.
