Job Responsibilities
  • Backend Systems: Design, build, and scale high-performance backend systems that power our AI-first workspace.
  • API Development: Develop scalable APIs and services to support real-time collaboration, persistent memory, and AI Experts/Skills.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with frontend, AI, and product teams to deliver features at startup speed.
  • Optimization: Optimize for scalability, performance, and security as we grow from dozens → thousands of users.
  • Architecture Decisions: Contribute to architecture decisions that will shape our platform for years to come.
Tech Stack We're Using (and you'll help evolve)
  • Node.js / TypeScript
  • PostgreSQL / Redis
  • GraphQL APIs
  • AWS / GCP
  • Docker / Kubernetes
  • Limited Experience with LLM integrations, vector DBs, or real-time systems is a plus.
Requirements
  • Backend Development Experience: 3+ years of experience in backend development.
  • Distributed System Expertise: Strong understanding of databases, APIs, and distributed systems.
  • Builder Mindset: Builder mindset — excited to ship fast, learn from users, and iterate.
  • Prioritization: Passionate about AI, SaaS, and how small teams work.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in an environment that's demanding, unstructured, and moving fast.
