The role of the Sports Programmes Director involves overseeing the planning, development and implementation of sports programmes across the institution. The Director will be responsible for managing sports infrastructure, promoting student and staff participation in sports and nurturing athletic talent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a Vision and Strategy: Create a comprehensive vision and strategy for the sports department that aligns with the institution's goals and objectives.
  • Manage Sports Programmes: Oversee the development, implementation and evaluation of sports programmes to ensure they meet the needs of students and staff.
  • Recruit and Mentor Talent: Identify, recruit and mentor talented athletes to represent the institution at various levels.
  • Collaborate with Coaches and Trainers: Work closely with coaches and trainers to promote a culture of fitness and sportsmanship among students and staff.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all sports activities comply with national and international standards and regulations.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in sports management, excellent leadership and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with staff and students at all levels.
