Job Summary:

We seek a highly skilled Data Scientist to lead the development and deployment of machine learning models, extracting insights from complex datasets, and building scalable data-driven solutions.

This role involves designing and implementing AI/ML models, writing production-ready engineering code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic business outcomes in a fast-growing innovation-led environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy machine learning models using Python, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and other relevant libraries.
  • Extract insights from complex data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Design and implement data-driven solutions, including real-time and batch processing systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers to build scalable and efficient data pipelines.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to serve machine learning models.
  • Work with databases, including data modeling, schema design, and query optimization.
  • Work with GitHub, Docker, and AWS to ensure smooth deployment and management of models.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in AI/ML.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in data science and machine learning.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and relevant libraries, including PyTorch, scikit-learn, and pandas.
  • Experience with machine learning model development, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
  • Experience with databases, including relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Experience with GitHub, Docker, and AWS.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
  • Experience with real-time and batch processing systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with time series forecasting and analysis.
  • Knowledge of deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or Keras.
  • Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP).
  • Experience with data visualisation tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and Scrum framework.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS SageMaker, Google Cloud AI Platform, or Azure Machine Learning.
