Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to lead our team in driving strategic initiatives and ensuring seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the P&C insurance industry, with exposure to Commercial Insurance. Key responsibilities include leading backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and release planning with internal development teams and external vendors.

  • Author and manage high-quality epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and capability matrices.
  • Facilitate refinement sessions, product demos, and sprint reviews.
  • Provide input on project scope, resource planning, and delivery timelines.
  • Lead impact analysis for change requests or scope adjustments and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective alignment between business goals, system capabilities, and development execution.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to validate system design and data flows meet product requirements.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, underwriting/operations, IT teams, and external brokers/partners.
  • Drive consensus across cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • CPCU, AINS certifications.
  • Deep Understanding of commercial lines such as General Liability, Property, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto, and others.
  • Experience with Guidewire and/or other leading policy admin systems.
  • Experience leading Agent or Broker Portal projects is required.
  • Understanding of portal UX design principles and ability to collaborate with design and CX teams.
