Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Business Analyst with Product Owner capabilities to drive strategic IT and digital transformation initiatives. This role combines deep business analysis expertise with product mindset ensuring that solutions deliver measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate will partner with senior stakeholders, lead requirements management, define product roadmaps, and explore AI-driven opportunities for innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, processes, and workflows.
  • Define and maintain product roadmaps, release plans, and backlogs in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories for technical teams.
  • Conduct workshops, meetings, and presentations to align requirements and solutions with business objectives.
  • Perform requirements analysis and ensure traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Partner with product owners, architects, and developers to define solution approaches.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and data analytics to improve processes, enhance decision-making, and deliver smarter solutions.
  • Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Drive process improvements by identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), support defect triaging, and ensure solutions meet business requirements.
  • Prepare clear and concise documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and business cases.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
  • Monitor project deliverables, risks, and dependencies, escalating as needed.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and knowledge-sharing to junior analysts.
  • Stay up to date with emerging IT trends, tools, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2–3 years in a Product Owner or product-facing role.
  • Proven track record in defining product vision, managing roadmaps, and delivering enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Deep expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and requirements management.
  • Strong experience with BA/Product tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio, Lucidchart, etc.).
  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts and ability to translate business needs into AI use cases (chatbots, predictive analytics, intelligent automation, document AI, etc.).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills —comfortable interacting with senior leadership.
  • Domain expertise in [insert domain: BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, etc.] preferred.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and API-driven ecosystems is a plus.
