Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced web developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate should have a strong command of Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and object-oriented programming concepts.

You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable web applications.

A working knowledge of React and Google Cloud Platform is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
  • Debug and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Collaborate in an agile team environment, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Take ownership of your deliverables and ensure timely completion.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with ActiveRecord.
  • Solid experience working with PostgreSQL (data modeling, indexing, query optimization).
  • Excellent grasp of OOP principles and design patterns.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience or working knowledge of React.js or other front-end frameworks.
  • Familiarity with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-native application development.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with background job processing and real-time features.
