Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide software delivery from compilation to runtime in various environments.
  • Set up and maintain SCM environments and build mechanisms in Amdocs and non-Amdocs environments.
  • Mentor development teams on compiling, packaging, and SCM tools throughout the product life cycle.
  • Optimize the build process by implementing new tools and improving existing utilities.
  • Analyze and resolve build errors, providing immediate and long-term solutions.
  • Craft, configure, install, and upgrade environments for internal and external users throughout the product life cycle.
  • Configure third-party software in supported environments and builds in conjunction with development and architecture.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Total experience: 6 to 8 years.
  • Required: 2+ years of experience in Capacity Planning, FinOps, and Capacity Management.
  • Required: Strong experience in Scripting (Python, Bash, Perl), SQL queries, Influx, Grafana, PostgreSQL.
  • Required: Strong experience in Advanced Excel.
  • Required: Proficient in mathematical skills: Basic statistical models (e.g., Gaussian distribution: Normal distribution), terms (median, standard deviation, etc.).
  • Required: Good hands-on experience with computing resources and knowledge of Hardware and Software requirements in production environments.
  • Required: 2+ years of experience in programming.
  • Desired: Data Center Experience.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and analytical skills.
