Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting global customers on the Axway APIM suite.


Key Responsibilities
  • Experience with integration/API management platforms like API Gateway, CA API Gateway, MuleSoft API Gateway, IBM API Connect, Apigee, Kong, 3Scale, or similar API gateway products.
  • Strong knowledge of Unix and Linux administration.
  • Knowledge around web services, SOAP, and REST.
  • Knowledge around network fundamentals and related troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge around communication protocols - HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, MQ, JMS, etc.
  • Knowledge around network security concepts (encryption/authentication/certificates), OAuth, LDAP, etc.
  • Autonomy with one programming language/scripting.
  • Autonomy with one database. Good understanding of SQL.
  • Production support experience.

Operational Aspects
  • On-call support as required by the project.

Desirable Skills/Experience
  • Good communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Customer/front office engagement experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices, incident/problem/change management experience.
  • Ability to work independently and have learnability skills.
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based solutions.
  • Exposure to cloud like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Exposure to NoSQL, MySQL, Cassandra.
