Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to global customers on the Axway APIM suite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exposure to Integration/API Management platforms like Axway API Gateway, CA API Gateway, MuleSoft API Gateway, IBM API Connect, APIGEE, KONG, 3Scale or similar API Gateway products is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Unix and Linux administration is essential.
  • A comprehensive understanding of Webservices, SOAP, and REST is necessary.
  • Knowledge around Network fundamentals & related Troubleshooting is also required.
  • Knowledge around Communication protocols - HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, MQ, JMS etc. is essential.
  • Knowledge around Network security concepts (Encryption / Authentication / Certificates), OAuth, LDAP etc. is required.
  • The ability to work autonomously with one programming language/scripting is essential.
  • A good understanding of SQL in a database environment is required.
  • Production support experience is essential.
Operational:
  • On-call support as when required by the project is expected.
Soft Skills / Experience:
  • Good communication skills - both written and verbal are required.
  • Customer/Front Office engagement experience is essential.
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices, Incident/Problem/Change Management experience is desirable.
  • The ability to work independently and have Learnability Skills is essential.
  • Exposure on Docker, Kubernetes and Container-based solutions is desirable.
  • Exposure on Cloud like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud is desirable.
  • Exposure to NoSQL/MySQL/Cassandra is desirable.
