Our organization seeks a skilled professional to manage and oversee the implementation of GitLab.

  • Infrastructure Strategy: Assess current infrastructure to determine requirements for implementing GitLab, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Collaboration and Liaison: Work closely with teams to understand enterprise architecture and security standards, providing designs and implementations based on these principles.
  • Setup and Configuration: Install, configure, and manage GitLab on our servers, leveraging configuration management and infrastructure as code tools to set up required infrastructure.
  • Integration and Security: Integrate GitLab with existing corporate tools and services, configuring and managing security settings and access controls.
  • Pipeline Management: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Azure DevOps, training team members and engineers on effective use of GitLab.
  • Troubleshooting and Monitoring: Monitor and troubleshoot issues with GitLab infrastructure, implementing best practices for version control, code review, and collaboration.
  • Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain documentation for GitLab setup and usage within the organization, recommending best practices around Microsoft Azure and assisting with queries.
  • Automation and Orchestration: Implement scripts to automate tasks, provisioning container workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts.
  • Security and Compliance: Create policies reflecting departmental policies, configure backups, and create disaster recovery plans for the GitLab platform.
  • Advanced Features: Implement single sign-on authentication, configure email delivery capabilities, migrate data from previous instances, and implement deployment pipelines with incremental delivery.
