Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the QA team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, building and maintaining robust test automation frameworks, and ensuring the highest level of software quality and reliability.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium with Python.
  • Developing reusable test frameworks and libraries.
  • Performing UI and API testing, validating data, and automating regression test cases.
  • Collaborating with developers and the QA team to identify test requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
  • Integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Documenting test results, reporting bugs, and tracking them through resolution.
  • Participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contributing to sprint planning and estimation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver.
  • Solid hands-on experience in Python scripting.
  • Experience with frameworks like PyTest, Robot Framework, or unittest.
  • Experience in API Testing using Postman/REST Assured.
  • Familiarity with Git, JIRA, and Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of PyTest, HTML/XML/JSON, and test reporting tools.
  • Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber or Behave is a plus.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
  • Understanding of Docker and containerized testing environments is a plus.
  • Experience in performance testing is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
