Job Title: Automated Software Tester

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Automated Software Tester to join our team. As an Automated Software Tester, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing automation scripts using Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) to streamline testing workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and implement automation scripts using Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) to streamline testing workflows.
  • Monitor and enhance test automation scripts to accommodate changing system requirements and improve performance.
  • Design and develop comprehensive test cases to evaluate user experience, functionality, and performance across portals.
  • Conduct testing in lower environments to validate system functionality and ensure optimal user satisfaction.
  • Execute test cases, analyze results, and report key findings and progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Create and manage JIRA tickets for issues identified during test execution, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with platform and engineering teams to implement CRT updates and maintain the stability of the test environment.
  • Schedule and run test suites in alignment with product release cycles and hotfix schedules.
Requirements:Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 8 to 13 years of relevant experience in test automation or quality assurance roles
Must-Have Skills:
  • Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Copado Robotic Testing, Selenium, TestNG
  • Proficiency in test automation lifecycle, including scripting, execution, maintenance, and analysis
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA for error tracking and test management
  • Familiarity with Git for version control, including branching, merging, and conducting code reviews
Good-to-Have Skills:
  • Direct experience with Copado Robotic Testing tools
  • Experience testing Salesforce-based applications and portals
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Apex
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes and integration within test automation frameworks
Soft Skills:
  • Strong critical-thinking and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams
