As a seasoned professional in the field of renewable energy, we are seeking an accomplished civil and structural engineer to fill the role of WTG foundation design expert.

Critical Design Expertise Required

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of wind turbine generator foundation design, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize WTG foundation designs using advanced techniques, including gravity-based, spread footing, piled, rock-anchored, shallow mat, ribbed beam, etc.
  • Conduct thorough structural load and stress calculations, taking into account gravity, wind, seismic, and fatigue loads.
  • Select and validate construction materials for maximum efficiency and sustainability.
  • Prepare and review design basis reports, bill of quantities (BOQs), drawings, and calculations.
  • Ensure seamless compliance with relevant industry standards, including BIS, ASCE, AISC, SBC, Eurocode, and others.
  • Collaborate effectively with geotechnical, hydrology, balance of plant (BoP), electrical, and commissioning, testing, and start-up (CTS) teams.
  • Provide technical support to business development, procurement, EPC partners, and consultants.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization) or Master's in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: 8–12 years of experience in the Power and Utilities sector, with a focus on renewable energy foundations.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS, PLAXIS 2D/3D.
  • Expertise in WTG foundation design, geotechnical risk assessment, hydrology, seismic analysis, and civil design codes.
