Wind Turbine Foundation Design ExpertJob Description:We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the development of world-class renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing wind turbine generator (WTG) foundations, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with international standards.This is a key role in the design and optimization of WTG foundations, requiring expertise in software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS, and PLAXIS 2D/3D. Strong knowledge in geotechnical risk assessment, seismic hazard analysis, and hydrological risk assessment is also essential.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization preferred) and at least 8-12 years of experience in the Power & Utilities / Renewable Energy sector with proven WTG foundation design expertise.
  • Design and optimize WTG foundations using various techniques including gravity-based, spread footing, piled, rock-anchored, ribbed beam, shallow mat, etc.
  • Perform load and stress calculations (gravity, wind, seismic, fatigue) to ensure structural integrity.
  • Select cost-effective and sustainable construction materials aligned with international standards.
  • Prepare and review design documents including Structural Design Basis Reports, BOQs, drawings, and calculation packages.
  • Collaborate with geotechnical, electrical, and civil experts to deliver holistic project designs.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with BIS, ASCE, AISC, SBC, EUROCODE, and other international standards.
  • Support certification processes with external consultants and agencies.
  • Drive continuous improvement while balancing safety, quality, and cost optimization.
Requirements:We are looking for an expert who has:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization preferred).
  • Master's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering (Advanced Structural Analysis preferred).
  • At least 8–12 years of experience in the Power & Utilities / Renewable Energy sector with proven WTG foundation design expertise.
  • Technical skills in software: STAAD Pro, SAP2000, RFEM/RSTAB, SAFE, ETABS, PLAXIS 2D/3D.
  • Strong knowledge in geotechnical risk assessment, seismic hazard analysis, hydrological risk assessment.
  • Expertise in wind turbine foundation design.
