Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time on-site role that requires a strong background in environmental compliance, wastewater treatment, and waste management.

About the Role

The Sustainability Specialist will be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance, managing wastewater treatment projects, conducting environmental impact assessments, providing consulting services, and overseeing waste management initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and Implement Environmental Systems: The successful candidate will design and implement effective environmental systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Site Assessments and Reporting: Conduct site assessments, prepare detailed reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Liaise with Regulatory Bodies: Establish and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and stay up-to-date on changes in regulations.
  • Project Management: Manage wastewater treatment projects, including project planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Environmental Consulting: Provide expert advice on environmental issues, including environmental impact assessments, sustainability strategies, and waste management initiatives.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong Background in Environmental Engineering or Related Field
  • Proven Experience in Wastewater Treatment and Waste Management
  • Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Strong Project Management and Organizational Skills
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Related Field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License or Equivalent Certification
