Sustainability Specialist

This role requires the development and implementation of comprehensive environmental programs that support long-term goals. You will identify key areas of impact, set measurable targets, and align with global ESG frameworks.

  1. Strategy Development: Create and execute sustainable initiatives that drive positive change within the organization.
  2. Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report environmental data, including carbon emissions, energy usage, and waste management. Prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
  3. Compliance Management: Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain documentation. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Foster collaboration with internal departments, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to promote sustainable practices. Develop awareness campaigns and workshops.
  5. Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize the company's ecological footprint.
  6. Innovation & Research: Stay ahead of industry trends by researching new technologies and methods that enhance sustainability performance.
  7. Training & Awareness: Design and deliver training programs on sustainability practices and environmental responsibility.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in environmental compliance, sustainability program management, or ESG reporting within a corporate environment.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, experience in sustainability frameworks, and proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data effectively.
