Our vision is to scale our impact by partnering with municipalities on 'Project Setu', benefiting 80,000 students and 5000 educators.

As a Strategic Human Resources Professional, you'll support the HR team in various activities, including Recruitment, Onboarding, Data Management, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, and other initiatives.

You will report to a Senior Manager- Human Resources, collaborating with the HR team to provide high-quality HR support and adhere to organizational policies.

This role entails:

  • Talent Acquisition: Partner with School Leaders to define staffing needs, collaborate on recruitment plans, manage hiring processes, and track metrics.
  • HR Operations, Data & Compliance: Oversee HR operations for Nagpur schools, ensure statutory compliance, support audits, and maintain accurate HR MIS and personnel records.
  • People Engagement & Culture: Serve as a key HR partner, address team-level concerns, promote a positive work environment, and facilitate conversations around team culture.
  • Policies, Processes & Communication: Ensure timely execution of HR policies and processes, communicate effectively to employees, and support contextualization of HR initiatives.
  • Team Management & Cross-functional Collaboration: Manage and build the capacity of HR team members, contribute to org-wide initiatives, and collaborate with the larger HR team.

This position requires:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in relevant HR roles.
  • Proven experience in hiring and HR data management.
  • Experience working in development and non-profit sectors preferred.

  • Self-motivation and ability to own a piece of work from start to finish.
  • Ability to coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
