Program Manager - Electric Vehicle Powertrain Systems

As a seasoned program manager, you will spearhead the development and delivery of our electric vehicle (EV) powertrain systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of complex projects, maintaining high-quality standards and optimizing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Leadership: Manage multiple programs related to EV powertrain development, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer expectations.
  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, define deliverables, set timelines, and allocate resources for on-time, within-budget delivery of all milestones.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and execution across all program phases.
  • Risk Management: Identify program risks, define mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues impacting timelines, quality, or budget.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, clients, suppliers, and partners.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts to optimize processes and workflows across programs, contributing to efficiency, quality, and cost savings.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all powertrain systems meet industry standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, ensuring designs and prototypes meet performance, efficiency, and sustainability goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management in the automotive or electric vehicle industry, with a focus on powertrain systems or related technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of EV powertrain components, including motors, inverters, battery systems, and drivetrains.
  • Proven track record of managing complex cross-functional projects from inception to delivery in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with senior leadership.
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth company is an advantage.
