Project Coordination Specialist

 

The primary function of this position is to lead and coordinate the successful execution of projects from inception to completion. To accomplish this, you will be responsible for managing project timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication to ensure that all project objectives align with the organization's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans and associated documentation in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal resources and external vendors for seamless project delivery.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues by creating contingency plans.
  • Track project performance, analyzing the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure effective resource allocation and availability.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira, Trello).
  • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
