System Architect Role Overview

The role of System Architect is pivotal in leading the design, optimization, and automation of technical infrastructure for global teams. This includes leveraging expertise in automation scripting (Perl, Python, Shell scripting) and knowledge of IT infrastructure to deliver advanced features such as license fair share, preemption, and global EDA tool license sharing.

To succeed in this position, candidates will need to demonstrate strong expertise in Linux systems, FLEXLM, and EDA license management, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in system deployment, architecture, and maintenance in distributed environments.

Key responsibilities include designing and implementing feature enhancements, transforming CAD-Infrastructure LSF setup to optimize resource usage across worldwide teams, developing development, testing, and production environments, and automating key infrastructure processes.

Candidates will also be required to collaborate with global teams to deploy, maintain, and enhance system solutions, utilizing their hands-on automation scripting skills to drive innovation and efficiency.

Qualifications and skills required for this role include 8+ years of experience with system deployment, architecture, and maintenance in distributed environments, strong expertise in Linux systems, FLEXLM, and EDA license management, and hands-on automation scripting skills (Perl, Python, Shell scripting).

In addition, candidates should have knowledge of IT infrastructure (Linux, LAN/WAN) and be able to work collaboratively in a global team environment.
