Job Title: System Administrator

Duration: Up to 6 months with high possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases and Lambda functions.
  • Assist in the design, implementation and maintenance of backup, high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze trends and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.
  • Administer Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms to ensure user productivity.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and support application deployments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior cloud engineers and other team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation and CloudWatch.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (e.g. ECS, EKS) is a plus.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation.
  • Proven hands-on experience supporting SSO platforms.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including TCP/IP, VPN, DNS and routing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
