Job Title: Asset Protection Specialist

The primary goal of the Asset Protection Specialist is to safeguard people and assets in accordance with global security guidelines and policies.

This role requires collaboration with stakeholders from various business functions to ensure high-quality and timely support to organizational operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Security Operation Optimization: Reviewing guard forces, profiling, implementing and following up on security plans, reviewing post site instructions, and generating reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, half-yearly, and annual basis.
  2. Audits and Certifications: Keeping plans and standard operating procedures (SOPs) updated, conducting periodic checks of documentation, preparing documents for internal and external audits, and following up on essential facilities like lights, hydrants, emergency exit doors, and access reader reports.
  3. Process Improvement: The Loss Prevention Program, process review, necessary improvements, quarterly assessments, loss prevention reports, feedback from shop floors, follow-ups, completion of corrective actions, and loss prevention audits.
  4. Scrap Disposal Auditing: Process review, necessary improvements, monitoring vehicle movements, surprise checks, and reporting on scrap yards. Cross-functional team audits are also conducted.
  5. Security System Management: Ensuring 95% serviceability of all systems, training all security guards, monitoring access levels, maintaining hygiene status reports, assessing operational effectiveness, preventive maintenance schedules, and new project implementations.
  6. Loss Prevention Analysis: Working closely with the quality assurance team to analyze unreconciled ASINs, completing investigations, submitting reports, conducting loss prevention audits, and providing recommendations. Surprise checks and follow-ups are also conducted.
  7. Security Stores and Assets: Maintaining an updated list of assets, scheduling maintenance, and managing security gadgets.
