Senior Data Protection Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Protection Specialist to join our Global Data Protection team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for supporting and implementing all aspects of our global data protection framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining internal data privacy policies, training modules, and content related to data privacy practices.
  • Informing and advising the organization on Global Data Protection Laws and its requirements, liaising with local support as required.
  • Working independently and liaising with business stakeholders and clients to understand and evaluate their respective data privacy & security requirements.
  • Conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments, identifying risks of processing, and following up on risk closure.
  • Independently managing and executing data privacy-related projects for the organization.
  • Maintaining and updating application and data inventory of the organization.
  • Handling enquiries and issues relating to data privacy practices, responding to data subject requests, and related data privacy rights.
  • Ensuring systematic compliance audits are undertaken and their findings are reported and acted upon.
