Procurement Professional

Job Responsibilities:

This role involves procurement of IT hardware, software and related services with an annual spend size of Rs. 100+ crores.

Additionally, this position is responsible for procurement of administrative materials and services including steel and cement for new projects/expansions.

The successful candidate will be expected to negotiate contracts, place orders, manage delivery and settlement processes.

They must also ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements through internal/external audits.

Furthermore, the ideal candidate should actively participate in annual budgeting, track due dates/renewals and prepare ahead of time for negotiations and closure.

Key responsibilities include mitigating risk, developing alternatives, optimizing/spreading spend to achieve speed and cost excellence.

They will take ownership of spend categories, managing them with consistency in delivery, availability, cost savings, risk mitigation and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

A graduate in engineering (Computer Engg/IT/Electronics) with a PGDMM/MBA in IT Systems preferred.

Minimum 6-10 years of experience in a similar role within a large complex organisation.

  • Good oral/written communication skills.
  • Collaborative approach with problem-solving attitude.
  • Process orientation and strong ethics.
  • IT/computer savvy with excel/MS office skills.
