Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

The Cloud Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for leading the architecture and presales team, collaborating with sales, technical, and service teams to design and propose comprehensive cloud and IT infrastructure solutions.

This role will involve providing technical expertise to support the sales team, helping to convince clients on the technical aspects of services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through solution design, documentation, and support during deployment.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of cloud services, data center infrastructure, and security, along with excellent communication and customer handling skills.

The position demands hands-on experience with IT infrastructure services, including private and hybrid cloud deployments, virtualization, network, and data security.

  • Solution Architecture & Design:
    • Design and propose comprehensive IT infrastructure solutions, including data center consolidation, cloud (public, private, and hybrid), virtualization, and security solutions.
    • Analyze cost-effective options for infrastructure as a service (IaaS) based on customer requirements.
  • Sales Support & Customer Engagement:
    • Partner with the sales team to understand client needs and provide technical solutions that address customer business challenges.
    • Build trusted advisor relationships with customers by understanding their business and technology requirements and providing tailored solutions.
    • Participate in customer meetings, demonstrations, and proofs of concept (PoC).
  • Documentation:
    • Manage and respond to RFX (RFI/RFP/RFQ) processes, ensuring compliance with bid requirements and preparing price proposals.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, solution diagrams, proposals, and presentations for both internal and customer-facing use.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with enterprise architects, delivery teams, and partners to develop robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions.
    • Coordinate with the support and service teams to address client queries and ensure smooth solution implementation during deployment phases.
    Key Skills and Qualifications
    • Deep technical understanding of IT Infrastructure, including Data Centers, Cloud (AWS, VMware), Virtualization, Networking, and Security.
    • Expertise in backup and disaster recovery solutions like Acronis Cyber Protection and Commvault.
    • Hands-on experience with IaaS, private and hybrid cloud deployments, and data center infrastructure services.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    Education and Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Relevant certifications in cloud solutions, security, and data center technologies are a plus.
