Azure Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to lead the implementation of cloud infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform.

  • Expertise in Linux (RHEL/SUSE) is required. Additionally, we require exposure to Axway products or competitor products.
  • Familiarity with automation and pipeline tools for CI/CD (Ansible/Puppet, GiT) is necessary.
  • Experience with Bash and Python/Terraform is also essential.
  • A sound understanding of Azure networking is a must.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Design documents creation and lifecycle management expertise.
  • Monitoring and capacity planning setup knowledge.

Desirable Skills:

  • JSON and XML standards familiarity.
  • Databases like MySQL/DB2/Oracle experience.
  • Linux and Windows environment working experience.
  • Variety of network protocols (HTTP/FTP/SFTP/SMTP) knowledge.
  • SSL, SSH, LDAP/firewalls, certificates understanding.
  • SOAP/REST API knowledge.

Operational Requirements:

24x7x365 shift with night shifts and India festivals/public holidays. On-call support from home.

Soft Skills/Experience:

  • Good communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Upgrade and migration projects experience.
  • Client engagement experience.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes including Incident/Problem/Change Management.

Desirable Soft Skills:

  • Strong ability to map customer requirements to a solution approach.
  • Excellent customer service skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical skills and incisive thinking ability.
  • Excellent client interfacing and customer coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of product architecture.
  • Autonomy with one programming language/scripting.
