Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee the management of our cloud infrastructure. As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting existing infrastructure: You will be responsible for supporting our existing infrastructure deployed across multiple regions using various IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions, primarily in AWS.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: You will create, extend, and enhance CI/CD pipelines, primarily using Jenkins. Experience in Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment across multiple environments is essential.
  • Authentication and Compliance: You will help ensure the continued availability, security, and performance of our products by identifying improvements and recommending solutions.
  • Cloud Administration: You will administer and troubleshoot the cloud environment, staying ahead of issues with proactive monitoring and alerting.

Requirements:

  • Development Skills: Proven Python development experience; able to write clean, testable, and scalable code for infrastructure automation and service orchestration.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Knowledge: Knowledgeable about and familiar with DevOps and cloud infrastructure tools such as Github, Azure Devops Pipelines, Terraform, Bash, PowerShell, and Linux server administration and networking principles.
  • Teamwork Skills: Excellent communication skills, self-organisation, problem-solving, prioritization, and task tracking abilities. Comfortable working with staff at all levels and across business functions.
